Congress has rejected the US Military’s request for funding to buy extra fight goggles from Microsoft, in response to a report. The Military’s ask of $400 million to purchase about 6,900 goggles, that are based mostly on Microsoft’s HoloLens Headset, was nixed as a result of subject checks confirmed the headsets induced “mission-affecting bodily impairments,” like complications and nausea, Bloomberg reported Thursday.
Lawmakers did approve $40 million in funding to develop a brand new goggles mannequin, Military spokesman David Patterson instructed the information outlet in an electronic mail.
